Marlon Moritz Rudolph was born in Munich in 1985 and raised on Mallorca in the little village Cas Concos.
He has been working in the fashion and advertising industry for over 13 years. Upon completion of high school he moved to Germany to work with Gabo before his photography degree with Markus Amon. He stayed in Munich for 2 years, also working for other photographers such as Florian Seidel and Sara Wilson. Following he moved back to Mallorca gaining the opportunity to work with significant photographers respectively Navad Kander, Alexi Lubomirski, Kristian Schuller, Christian MacDonald, Vincent Peters, Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer, Annemarieke van Drimmelen just to name a few.
He now lives between Palma and Lisbon with his wife Bianca and her daughter Kira and is building his own path between portrait, reportage and fashion photography.
His biggest inspiration and gift in photography seems to be the play with light. Natural light, surrounds and use of what is already given is a key element to his work. Over and above that he can create a light seamlessly to highlight the object of attraction. He finds the connection to object, be it person or place and builds every component to capture magnificence. Abstract or Actual.
A reflection, a strong shadow, graphic patterns, an odd or protrusive light fall - Anything that could make the picture more interesting, emotive and tangible to the eye and emotion is key in his constellations and captures.
